The environment is art for artists, and the artist can create wonderful works of art inspired by nature or by using a raw material found in the environment around them, so they convey its beauty and encourage us to pay attention to it. Environmental art forces us to think about the consequences of our behavior on the planet. Also, when the artist creates works of art from things, the value of things we have and how to use them increases
These works here are all done during the curfew of the Corona pandemic in 2020, where the artist had no materials for drawing = neither colors nor canvases for painting, and the shops were not open to sell these materials = so some materials were available in the house such as papers and some empty boxes = and because the artist could not To sit without drawing, so Azizieh made these artworks from the materials that available at that time
I don’t always know what configurations will come out of my stuff until I do. Then everything makes sense. something comes to me. This way it is always new and up to date. I feel free to use things the way I want anything, even a clutter pile if I want. But even that comes in order in the process, in the end.
Sustainability remains at the heart of political, economic and social debates. As debates heat up, so does the planet, and contemporary art has joined the debate through the recycled art movement. Whether they are politically motivated, or they follow in Duchamp’s footsteps, lead me to create inspiring and original pieces. By working with recycled materials, I encourage these people to question the sustainability and environmental impact of the artistic process. .
