Convergências Exhibition in Portugal

Convergências Exhibition opened on 21 September and ran until 9 November in Portugal, presenting a dynamic international platform that brought together artists from across the world in a celebration of contemporary art and cultural exchange.

The exhibition featured a wide range of artistic practices, including painting, sculpture, digital media, and mixed techniques. Under the theme of “Convergências” (Convergences), the show explored the meeting point of different cultures, ideas, and artistic languages, creating a dialogue that transcended geographical and conceptual boundaries.

Among the participating artists  was Aseel Azizieh, who represented Jordan on this international stage. Her participation highlighted the presence of Jordanian contemporary art within global exhibitions and emphasized the importance of cross-cultural artistic exchange.

Azizieh presented works that reflected her distinctive visual language, combining expressive elements with conceptual depth. Her contribution added a unique perspective to the exhibition, enriching the dialogue between artists from diverse backgrounds.
