Sikka Art & Design Festival took place in 2025 in Dubai, continuing its role as one of the region’s أبرز platforms supporting emerging and established artists from across the Arab world and beyond.

The festival featured a vibrant program of exhibitions, installations, performances, and talks, celebrating contemporary creativity within the historic Al Fahidi district. Artists presented works that reflected cultural identity, innovation, and the evolving visual language of the region.

Among the participating artists was Aseel Azizieh from Jordan, who represented her country through a distinctive artistic presentation. She showcased a series of paintings inspired by her recognizable style centered on horses, capturing movement, strength, and emotional expression through dynamic compositions and bold brushwork.

In addition to her paintings, Azizieh presented an artbook that documented her artistic journey and visual language, offering insight into her creative process and thematic interests. The combination of her paintings and publication created a comprehensive representation of her practice.
